The QR standees banks send take weeks and lock you to one app's branding. This generator encodes the same NPCI-standard upi:// format those standees use, meaning any UPI app scans it and the money lands directly in your account, with nobody (including us) in between. Shops print one per counter; freelancers put one on invoices (pair it with our invoice generator); delivery businesses stick one on every package for COD-to-UPI conversion.

Yes. The QR is generated entirely in your browser; your UPI ID never touches our servers. The code simply encodes your ID the same way your bank's QR does.
